Packaging facility has been established at Opava’s freezer by Bidfood, formerly Nowaco. The production of one-kind vegetables or mixes has started at the beginning of 2001, with a capacity of 600 tons per month.

Opava has a long tradition of ice-cream production, dating to 1950s. Many products haven’t changed since although nowadays we are producing it in modern facilities passing all the regulatory and voluntary requirements. Bidfood is the biggest manufacturer of ice-cream in Czech Republic and Slovakia and also an important producer of frozen meals or sous-vide meat.
