Bidfood Kralupy specialises in the processing and production of fresh and deep-frozen sea and freshwater fish, fresh meat and game. It is one of the largest food producers in the Czech and Slovak Republics.
Nowaco Fish and Fish Products
Our history of packing frozen fish and Nowaco fish products dates back to 1998. A year later, we expanded production to include salmon filleting, packaging and distribution of both whole fresh fish and fillets, including tray-packed portions for retail. A unique specialty is the breeding and sale of live lobsters.
Gurmet Meat and Meat Products
We operate two modern production facilities for the processing of Gurmet meat and meat products. The first opened in June 2003 in Kralupy nad Vltavou, the second in March 2019 in Opava. Pork and beef are trimmed and prepared to standard kitchen-ready cuts. In addition to fresh meat, we offer a wide range of meat products – minced meat, burgers and sausages.
Petron Game Processing
Our game cutting and processing plant (facility for portioning and preparing hunted game) under the Petron brand was launched in 2012 and is now one of the largest and most modern of its kind in Europe. We offer fresh and frozen meat from wild game – both feathered and furred – sourced from local forests all year round.
