The factory for frozen fish has been a completely greenfield project for Bidfood in Kralupy nad Vltavou. In 1998, the original packaging workshop was set up. The current, modernized, workshop produces around 5 000 tons of frozen fish a year. This translates to 230 trucks, forming a line of 4 km.

We are the main producer and processor of fresh and deep frozen freshwater and sea fish. There is not a larger buyer of merlucius productus fish portions than Bidfood. These portions are made into the famous Nowaco fish portions. Apart from fish, we are process pork, beef and game here. Our game plant in Kralupy is among the largest in Central and Eastern Europe.
