Bidfood Expo 2026 opened its doors on 13 October in Prague's Letňany district.

Across almost 10,000 m² of exhibition space, we were once again amazed by a world full of new products, modern technologies and the latest trends shaping the foodservice industry. We discovered practical tools to help businesses operate more efficiently. We watched renowned chefs in action during live cooking demonstrations on stage. We tasted plenty of delicious food. We met producers and suppliers from the Czech Republic and abroad in person. We had the opportunity to share experiences, make new contacts and find inspiration to help our businesses grow.

Bringing the Food Industry Together

Bidfood hosted outstanding gastronomic events in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia, each designed to inspire, connect, and support culinary professionals across the foodservice and retail sectors. Although each country’s event had its own name, format, and schedule, both shared a common goal: to celebrate culinary excellence and advance the food industry through innovation, expertise, and creativity.

These events brought together leading chefs, food experts, and suppliers to present the latest trends in food products, technologies, and gastronomy. Visitors could enjoy cooking shows, live demonstrations, and tastings that highlighted both local and international innovations. Attendees also had the opportunity to meet the people behind the products – from developers and category managers to producers and distributors.

Engaging Program and Professional Networking

In addition to culinary presentations, the programme included expert talks, showcases of practical solutions for businesses, and live competitions. A strong emphasis was placed on talent development, including student challenges that supported the next generation of culinary professionals and fostered cooperation with hospitality schools.
