How We Operate
Bidfood Czech Republic is a group of specialized companies that together provide comprehensive services in the production and distribution of food for retail and gastronomy in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
Food distribution
Thanks to the combination of our own production, purchasing, sales and distribution, we have full control over the quality and availability of our assortment. Every year, our production facilities generate tens of thousands of tons of food, representing approximately a quarter of all goods delivered to our customers.
We are proud that we are able to increase the volume of our products year after year, supplying a wide range of clients across Europe and beyond.
Food Production
In our facilities, we produce tens of thousands of tonnes of food every year, which represents approximately one quarter of all products traded within our distribution network.
We are proud of our ice cream and dessert factory in Opava, the largest of its kind in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as our game processing plant in Kralupy, one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe.Our fish fillets are cut from frozen blocks of Canadian hake – we are the world’s largest purchaser of this raw material.
